Hi everyone –

We have been contacted by two different news sources – looking to speak to clients on specific situations:

 1)       a client who is currently in the two-year waiting period

a.       Have low income, but not poor enough to qualify for Medicaid

b.       A person of color if at all possible (hard to determine sometimes if you haven’t met them face to face)

c.       The person can be from anywhere in the country, but they want to photograph and/or videotape them, so we will need to find out if they are comfortable with that.

ALSO

2) Apparently, some oxygen providers are sending letters to their clients that are somewhat threatening (raising the prospect of their not getting their equipment) but also encouraging them to support this bill.  A national cable TV network is looking to interview someone who has received such a letter. Do you know anyone who has seen such a letter?

            a) this person must be willing to be on national TV.

 If you have a client who fits this description, please send me their information as soon as possible so we can connect him/her to the reporter.

We don’t have any clients in our database who fit these descriptions so we are reaching out to you all for help.
