Getting The Information You Need
EDS is not a simple disorder; to get our information across in the most accessible way we first need to establish who the reader is and what type of information they want. In order to quickly establish that we have condensed the top menu bar into Three Categories:
This section is written with the non-medical person in mind. Information is presented simply and cleanly with as little use of medical jargon as possible. With member submitted articles on how to live with EDS, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and links to other sites with relevant information. Click here to see a break down of each menu item and what it contains.
This section is written for the Medical Profession by the EDNF Professional Advisory Council. Based on the popular All Types of EDS CD-ROM, information is technical in nature and is presented using medical language. This category is broken down by EDS type and contains photos and images of the Syndromes. Click here to see a break down of each menu item and what it contains.
Is written for anybody who wants to know who we are, what we do and how we are doing it. It covers our mission, our infrastructure, how we work with our Volunteer resource and of course, how to get in touch with us. We want people to understand how by working together we can have a dramatic impact on the lives of everyone who have to deal with EDS.
