The Wallet Card is a thin credit card sized plastic informational card. It contains critical, timely & well-formatted information about EDS on both sides of the card. It can be used in any situation wherein a clear, concise & authenticated description of EDS is needed. In an Emergency Room it could easily save a life!
EDNF members get a Free Wallet Card when they join the Foundation. You can order additional copies of the Wallet Card from EDNF's online store by clicking here.

The Wallet Card is the brainchild of EDNF International Projects Coordinator Lisa Schoenberg, You can read more about Lisa inside this issue of Loose Connections in our “Volunteer Spotlight” section. The card has been over a year in the making and has had input from many individuals, ultimately culminating in approval from EDNF's Professional Advisory Council.
This project was sponsored by the North Central, NJ Chapter of EDNF, who donated the initial start up cost of the wallet cards and who hope to eventually cover the entire cost of the initial print run. The chapter's donation was as a result of the exhaustive fund raising efforts of several of the members. Additional single copies of the card can be purchased through the EDNF on-line store.
(Please note that the card will not be available in the store until next week, 11.29)
