| Easy
bruising manifests as spontaneous ecchymoses, frequently recurring in
the same ares, and causing characteristic brownish discoloration. Easy
bruising may be the presenting symptom in early childhood. Child abuse
should be considered in the differential diagnosis. There is a tendency
to prolonged bleeding in spite of normal coagulation status [Beighton,
1993; Steinmann et al., 1993]. |
