EDS Emergency Physicians Reference CD-ROM
The Ehlers-Danlos Emergency Physician
Reference Guide is the EDNF's first multimedia CD-ROM and booklet. The main focus
is on Vascular EDS - Type IV. The CD contains emergency, surgical and post operative
care information that may make the difference between life and death for Vascular
EDS patients. The CD is narrated by Dr. Richard Wenstrup, geneticist at Children's
Hospital of Ohio and medical advisor to EDNF.
To date the EDNF
has distributed over 10,000 copies of this program to health care professionals
across all disciplines. It is our hope that everyone who comes into contact
with Vascular EDS will obtain a CD to review. In the event of a trauma situation,
the CD contains valuable medical suggestions and life-saving information.
